Exmouth Caravan Park

Issue

Situated near Ningaloo Reef in a remote part of WA, this caravan park is popular with tourists who demand mobile signal to share their experiences and communicate to those at home. The park had no mobile signal, except for the cabins on the hill getting one bar.

Products Used

As blanket coverage in all directions was needed for both 3G
and 4G, two systems where used. Each of the systems
comprised of a:

• Yagi antenna
• 2 Way Splitter
• 2 x network approved booster Units
• 8dbi panel antenna

Result

The result is full 3G and 4G coverage across the entire park (300m x 300m)

Typical Issue

No signal at ground level. Signal obtained by having Yagi on 5m pole above rooftop.

Would like signal in house and to other structures on farm.

Action

A site survey was conducted and network approved hardware was installed.

Result

Indoor ceiling dome provides complete indoor coverage inside the house.

An outdoor panel antenna provides signal around three buildings outdoors.

A Remote Farmer in a valley

Issue

Customer has a large rural property with 3 bars of 3G signal on top of a hill, but no signal around his house and shed. The top of the hill was 200m from the buildings.

Products Used

One of our solar packs was used, a Stationary signal booster , 14dB Yagi and a 5dB outdoor panel.

Result

Strong continuous 3 bars around both the shed and house. He is also able to get coverage in some parts of the house that face the panel antenna.
